Days in the Diocese of Cartagena

Want to participate?
First you have to contact your priest or bishop and find more people from your country who are interested in coming to Spain for those days. Then, the leader of your group must register all of you in the official webpage of the WYD, www.madrid11.com/en and, in that registration form, it will be asked if you will come to the DID and where you would like to stay, this is, the Diocese of Cartagena-Murcia. Finally, you can contact us with the contact form or the e-mail address deleju@delejucartagena.es.
What do I have to pay as a pilgrim?
The only thing you have to pay is the transportation. This means that you have to look for your flight or bus to come to Spain but once you have arrived to our country we can help you with the bus or train to get to Murcia and then to go to Madrid for the World Youth Day. We are trying to get grants to provide you with cheap options.

What about food and accomodation?
Minor pilgrims (under age 18) will be accomodated in groups in schools or parishes, while pilgrims over age 18 will stay with host families in pairs. Food will be given in the place where the pilgrim is accomodated, so it is not necessary to pay for it.
